Shoraka Suyula Platform Sdn Bhd

The Suyula Platform, owned and operated by Shoraka Suyula Platform Sdn Bhd (SSP), functions as a digital marketplace for Ar-Rahnu Operators to secure short-term funding. The aim is to provide faster and more affordable access to emergency funding for those in our community who are unbanked or underserved. This innovative platform seeks to address the financial needs of these individuals by facilitating the channeling of sufficient funds to them through the Ar-Rahnu industry.

Johar, who originally broached the idea, turned it into a reality with the help of Shoraka Group, being the angel investor in this venture.

• Selected to be a member of the first cohort of FIKRA Programme (Islamic Fintech Accelerator Programme) – a joint initiative by the Securities Commission of Malaysia (SC) and the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).

• Secured an Innovation License from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

• Awarded the Malaysia Digital (MD) Status by MDEC.
